WOOHOO the Steelhead are starting to run up the local creeks. Caught my first ever Steelhead about 7 pounds. Not many running yet but with the added rain we got today and continuing cooler temps I think I will have to try again in the morning.

It is now 5am Tuesday morning so it is time to head back to the creek.

Spent 3 hours on the creek this morning. After yesterdays rain the creek is up at least 6 inches and running fast and dirty. By the time I left it started to clear up a bit but still up and fast.
I will go back this evening or in the morning and try try try again.
