Cocoa Beach, Fl Area Advice???

I will be in the vicinity of Cocoa Beach on and off for October and November for work and wanted to check if anyone could give me some advice on some saltwater flyfishing spots/techniques/flies. I have read that Mosquito Lagoon is fairly well known hot spot. However I doubt I will have access to a boat or of the like. Most likely I will have a good bit of time to kill in the evenings and weekends. I have two salwater rods (9' 8 wt and a 9' 10 wt). So far, my saltwater experience has only been in the flats for reds and bonefish.
