Thread: Favorite Sayings

    Default Favorite Sayings

Greg's "New Favorite Quote" on the Warm Water Forum motivated me to finally start this thread.

My wife works as a hospice nurse and sees a lot of older and dying people regularly. She likes to encourage me to "Do it WHILE you can."

I obviously have several favorite sayings - "The fish are always right" and "Luck is a residue of skill" are two of them.

To respond to my wife's line, I usually remark "Do it SO you can."

You all must have some favorite sayings. How about sharing them ??
    The fish are always right.

"The real art of conversation is not only to say
the right thing at the right time,
but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing
at the tempting moment." End Quote.
