Sound Off

Just wondering how nice life would be on FAOL without the Soundoff thread.

For some of us we'd be up the creek. Yes there have been some heated threads on that board, but also on this board as well. Most of us consider FAOL as JC's & LF's home and we try and behaive ourselves. But 'sound off' is kind of like the kids table. As long as we keep the food fights to a minimum, they pretty much leave us alone.

Now let me see if I can lob my mashed potatoes in Flats Dude's tea glass. *G*

Without the soundoff forum the same information and complaints would be strewn throughout the rest of the forums. I like it as it consolidates that noise (of which I am an active noisemaker)

Life would be much uglier around the Hiner household, if I didn't have the Sound Off board! Alot of things get discussed and put to order there in a way few other forms would allow....at least legally...ie, strangulation of husband.

Hey, shouldn't this be over on Sound Off? This is the only Sound Off thread that I see over here, so are you saying life would be better without this thread?

If you get rid of Sound Off, you will get more stirring of the pot over here. Best to keep it in one section where people can choose to go if they wish, and also choose to not go over there.

I thought it was brilliant to put it over there by itself.

the fact is, we, as humans, have other things going on besides FFing in 9our lives. without sound off, some people would have no place to seek advice. some people would need to look for reasons to smile. and besides, its just plain fun...

Thank God for the sound off place! As a
relatively new person to FAOL, (about two
months), I had never peeked into that place
before today.

Glad I don't have to wade through all that
seeking out what I really like.

Thanks for sound off! Deep inside I harbor
some too... Maybe some day.
