Sorry I don't have a photo to illustrate but maybe someone may have an idea on this.
Recently caught what appeared to be a very healthy rainbow...good color, no obvious physical deformaties, good, strong fighting fish. Upon cleaning it, however, notice that appended to the entrails were what appeared to be groups of growths, looking somewhat like pale, white fingers, about the size of a small pencil, and each about 2 inches long. Probably 50 or so such growths. First impression was some sort of intestinal worms. Have never seen this before. Any ideas on what this could be?
