Bread Maker - not FF
Okay, now that I have Joe V's attention, this is about one of my friends who owns, operates, and works at making dough at the local Great Harvest Bread Company in Idaho Falls.
John V ( not Valencic ) is a novice fly fisherman, whom I've had the pleasure of "mentoring" over the past couple years, and an accomplished outdoorsman and athlete for other outdoors activities. A couple weeks ago, one of his customers mentioned that a member of his team dropped out of the opportunity to go for a walk in the park.
John gave it a moment's thought before jumping at the chance, with the crazy notion that he could end up on top of a big hill.
With no training in technical climbing - just going with his all around fitness, savy, and guts - he did this.
It takes a team to get to the summit of the Grand Teton at 13,770'. These folks helped him get up and down safely.
Hats off to a fly fishing bread maker from Idaho for completing his walk in the park.
Way to go, John !!
