A friend of mines father recently passed away and he found this fly rod and reel (with an interesting multi-colored line on it) out in a shed. It's a two piece rod and from the photos it appears to be fiberglass. It's probably from the late sixties or early seventies (just a guess) and the only markings on the rod is the fish decal seen in the close up photo. Sorry, he has not been able to provide a better picture of the decal so this partial view is the best that can be seen. The reel has no markings at all. So if any of you out there have any thoughts please let me know and I'll pass them along. He'd like to fish the outfit but I've already told him the guides will need to be replaced (they're pretty rusty!). I think his biggest interest is in keeping something of his dad's and trying to determine if the cost of replacing the guides is worth it.

Thanks in advance.
