    Default Pflueger Trion fly rods

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here has used a Pflueger Trion fly rod, and if so, what are your opinions? (is that opening a can of worms, or what?) The reason I ask is because I have the chance to pick one up at a very reasonable price from a woman up the street from me. It's her husbands and he canno longer fish due to some ailments. This rod is brand new...never been wet. It's an 8', 5wt, model #PT80-56. You know the more rods the better, right? Any comments? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Dave,

I believe those reviews are for a different model/year. The one I'm referring to retails in the $100 range. Well, lunch is over...back to work. Thanks again.

I believe the prices in that particular site are spot on...although I have seen these rods priced much higher in other sites..a local shops prices are about what those are..and the list of reviews is pretty much what I'd have to say for them..I have an older Pflueger and these are light years ahead of them...
    Wish ya great fishing,Bill

Bought the rod last night...I still had room in one corner for another tube. Hopefully I'll get to try it out over the weekend or maybe even tonight down at the high school field. I'm curious as to what my $30 bought Thanks for the replies.
