For all that's interested, the Cumberland river is prime for fishing, as far as the gen schedule is concerned. I haven't been down there since last fall, so can't speak for the fishing results, but they are not running any generators and that means superb wading conditions.

I hope to get down there within a couple of weeks and will be able to give a report after that.

Can't wait to get back in the river and give those casting lessons that JC and LadyFisher bestowed on me at the Michigan Fish-in a try.

I talked with "Fred in KY" and he has been hitting the river and having some really good luck with copper johns, and wooly buggers. He mentioned something about an 18 inch rainbow.

Fred, are you out there, need some details on that fish.
