Thread: Sad loss of a Kiwi mate

Default Sad loss of a Kiwi mate

I know that lots and lots of our young are paying the ultimate sacrifice in various theatres of war around the globe. They give their lives without question for what they believe is right.

Today the first New Zealander fighting with an elite Australian SAS unit was killed in Afghanistan.

Please spare a quiet moment if you would; and help me extend my thoughts, best wishes and thanks to our very good friends from across the Tasman Sea.

I hope there are no more.

My thoughts and prayers are with them. I want to personally extend my thanks to all the brave men and women form all of the nations that are standing in harm's way for the innocent. Many thanks to their families too.

My thoughts and prayers go out for all of these service men and women from all the different countries. Most of these service personnel are volunters and deserve all the thanks and prayers we can send there way. Always remember these folks that have fought all over the world past and present are the reason most of us live and enjoy the freedoms we have. I thank and salute all of them for the sacrafices they make. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

Hey Guys, could not agree more.
Did you know that a kiwi serving in Afganistan was awarded the Victoria Cross last year? His name is William Appirata and he is a real hero who has made his country proud.

Thank you all. I know your losses are great. It is such tragedy that our sons have to do this.
