    Default It's Monday ...

    My sister sent this to me, and it was so true, I thought I'd share it with you all!

    If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.

    I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull, but that's not the worst of it;

    My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.

    My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

    My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

    It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

    But here's the worst of it...

    Almost every time I sneeze, cough, or sputter; either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!
    Trouts don't live in ugly places.

    A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

    Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

    Betty and her sister now owe me a keyboard and monitor! That's what happens when you make someone with a severe sinus infection laugh!

    Those new models are not near as beautiful as us classics you know.

    Funny, I didn't notice any "defects" in the model that was at the MI-FI last week. The model I spent time with had a ready smile for everyone she came in contact with, and had a sharing and caring spirit that made me and many others feel good about being around her. That's hard to get with the newer models.
