Montana is coming around
Keeping my fingers crossed.
A few of the rivers in Montana are finally starting to drop back to post spring run off levels. The Clark Fork River in the St. Regis area has just gone below 20,000 cfs, a magical figure for fishing on that river. In a couple of days the waters should clear up for some fantastic fishing. I will be giving it a go in a couple of weeks. The Beaverhead is in great shape.
Some of the other rivers are still too fast and muddy, but they should all be dropping back to normal summertime flows in the near future.
