ll bean rods?

Does anyone have any experience with them. Specifically the Quest not the Quest II. It is a shorter 4wt but can't find much info on them.

Been a while since I had one of those in my hands, but I remember it as a medium action, with inexpensive components. Serviceable, just not very pretty. The Quest II on the other hand, has decent hardware, exceptional quality cork, and casts great! I've never regretted buying anything from the Bean - so much so, that I went to work for the company.

I know the bamboo rods are made by Gary Lacey ~~ he is one of the best rodmakers living today. His work is exceptional.

What were you saying about the Quest rod...

Thanks I will think it over. I don't really need another 4wt....but, um, you know how that goes.

I have been looking for a 4 weight rod. If you pass on it let me know I would be interested and I cant live 15 minutes from you.

I have a older Quest 2, 9' 5 wt. that I use to fish brookies. Works great!!
