Saturday(5th)-Ending day (boo hoo!)
When you register you will receive a name tag, a pin, and your t-shir (if you ordered one). For those interested, making of furled leaders will be available all week. There will also be a swap/sale table in the boardroom, so bring those items you wish to sale/give away.
The casting contest details are in the posting by Kaboom1 under "casting contest". There will be prizes awarded! So far we have furled leaders donated by Brad Sherrick, a furled leader kit donated by Kathy Scott, and expect more to come in by the time the fish-in begins.
For the dinner on July 4th, the only thing you need to bring is your drink, a seat and an appetite. We will be providing smoked pork (made by our premier chefs Brad Sherrick and Bill Horner), potatoe salad, chips, and a dessert. All tableware and napkins will also be provided. Any and all donations will be accepted to help defray the cost for the dinner, and any monies over the cost will be donated to Anglers of the AuSable to help them in their legal battles to keep the river pristine.
We are, as I am sure everyone is, excited and anxious for the fish-in to finally get here. I have already started packing some of the non-essential stuff-like the t-shirt, the FAOL banner, etc. If it was up to me I'd pack and leave today!
See you all there!
