A few years ago I was fishing a small lake in Maine, anyway, when the sun went down the bass starting feeding on the dragonflies, actually jumping out of the water, everywhere. I threw every popper at them and only caught a chain pickeral. I missed a few. I didn't understand why they didn't take the poppers. I didn't have gurglers at the time either.

I just read an article and, it said when the bass are feeding on dragonflies, use a muddler minnow, it works. The author didn't know why, they don't look anything like dragonflies. Who cares, as long as they work. I just thought I'd pass along the info, I'm going to test the theory.

Anyone have any luck with this?
