I have several Legend Ultras...by far the best casting series of rods for my casting stroke and tastes I've yet to handle. I've basically, almost sold every other brand of rods I own and bought Legend Ultras, from a 4wt up to 8wt.
Yes, I'd classify the LU's as fast. Not broomstick fast, but fast, with feeling.
I have the LU 906-4 that if it were to break tomorrow, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
