    Default New bread cooker

As if I don't waste enough time in the kitchen trying to move up to the next waist size of work pants, I received my new La Cloche oblong cooker today, and tried it out with a loaf of No-Knead bread in a traditional loaf style instead of round style. BTW, this was a Father's Day gift for myself.

Here is the first loaf fresh from the oven:

Here it is turned out to the cooling rack:

This loaf had 2T of Italian seasoning mix in the flour, and I dusted the top of the loaf just before putting it in the oven with 10-Grain cereal mix. Yummy!

I'm going walleye & perch fishing in the morning and taking the entire loaf for me and my posse. I also have some dried sausages and 2# of assorted cheeses and fresh fruit for snacking between fish.
