    Unhappy Troubled Waters Ahead

Fished the biggest trout stream in my area above the canyon last night. At 9:00 p.m. it was 69 degrees and very low flow. The air temp. was in the 90's today and will be for several days to come. Trouble for the trout for sure. What a difference a week can make for the temp. of a watershed. I may be collecting poached trout on the banks by Monday. Such a shame.
Fishing with bait is like swearing in church.

    Bummer.

We went through that last summer in SE Idaho. Gave up fishing completely from early July through early September just because it didn't seem right to be stressing the fish any more than what they already had to deal with.

Hopefully, you guys will get some rain and cooling weather sooner rather than later in your neck of the woods.

    Good luck.

    John
    The fish are always right.
