Three features I especially appreciate about your version are the hi visibility cdc puff, the rubber legs and the nice big feather legs. We found that anything with rubber legs was instantly more appealing to the cutts. Foam doesn't automatically float hi and dry, so that orange puff will help so much. Also, with white foam and glare on the water the contrast is excellent. Finally, those feather legs should be much easier to work with than pheasant tail fibers. I'm looking forward to tying up a few for next summer.
