Default South Bend 359 info needed

I have a South Bend 359-8 1/2 that I am refinishing. Can someone out there that has one of these do me a favor? Am looking for the original guide spacing and guide sizes, as well as the size of the agatine stripper. I have a spare agatine stripper, but it looks small and was wondering how big the originals were. Thanks.

    Jim,
I have a South Bend 59 but it is a 9 foot rod so the spacing would be a little different. I suggest you post on the Clark board where I'm sure someone can answer your question. Here's a link (hopefully):

those older rods had small guides. However, that does not seem, in the case of my Heddon, to make a much of a difference in casting. I can hit 60 to 80 with ease. the silk lines were fairly thin, hence the narrow diameter guides. Yes, classic fly rod forum is a super place for information
