    Wrangler,

Received your flies in today's mail. Nice looking fly. What has been your best fish-to-date on it?

    Thanks again for participating.

I tied that fly for the first time this past winter and haven't used it yet. I plan to target smallies in the Crow River next time I get there.

Just to let you know so no one gets nervous. I am half way through my contribution to the swap. This is the first time I've tied these but I like them. I have a couple of spots in mind where I'm going to try my first attempts that didn't quite make swap quality. Not that anything I tie is a technical marvel!

I have one that lost a claw already and will send that to the bottom of a nearby reservoir on a test run....

Swiss Straw Craws are in the mail.

Y'all can easily trim the claws to whatever size you want.

Just sent mine in today. I think this was the earliest I've ever finished a swap.

Gigmaster and TB Wannabe your flies arrived today. From what I've seen to date, there are going to be a lot of fish caught all over the country with flies from this swap.

Looking forward to getting the rest of the flies in so that I can send them out asap.

    Steve,

Your flies arrived in Saturday's mail. Another great set of flies! I'm definitely going to have to plan a trip where the only flies I fish will be crawdads.

We're getting close to having all the sets in. Once they're all in, I'll sort them, photograph them, then mail them back.

    Michael,
I'm glad that they made it. Thanks for the update.

Mine are on the way, hopefully they arrive on time, It is a pattern and color that has been doing nicely on smallies for me this spring, not the fanciest but they work extremly well.
