Thread: Al Campbell Report

    Default Al Campbell Report

Talked to Al a little while ago...he was fishing today! Walked about a quarter mile to
Rapid Creek with his dogs, caught 3 nice trout, which made him happy and walked back home.
He has his drivers license back but has to have someone with him for a week or so. His hard drive is ill and he is waiting for a buddy to help him replace it, so if you've emailed him be patience. He says no more chemo, makes him too sick, but right now he feels the best he has in many months.

What a great "thumbs up" report on Al Campbell.
Heck, it even cheered ME up, as I envisioned
him and his pups, fly rod in hand, making it to the river and back under his own steam.

This man has taught so much to so many of us.
Al Campbell, you are priceless here on FAOL!

Al may not know it but I've been taking him along with me hunting grouse this past month.
I don't hunt with a dog and hate to hunt alone, so I brought Al with me.
The seasons about over, closes on the 13th.
We didn't get him this year Al but we gotta good idea where to start next year.
