Was fishing my favorite trout stream today with my oldest son, and we were not having a lot of luck. So in the last riffled area of the afternoon I saw the beadhead adams and decided to tie it on. Wham! Caught two bows almost immediately. Then I leap frogged my son and went to the head of the riffle we were fishing, got in the really fast but shallow water and I hooked the biggest darn brown I've ever tangled with. He took me on three long runs and then as my son was nearing him to get him in the net, he threw the hook, or it tore out. Not sure which but he was a Goodun! My son and I both guessed over 20 inches. So thanks again JC for the fly that these North Georgia trout seem to like! This is the second time I have gone to this fly and both times it worked for me.
