Colorado Labor Day
HI everyone!! It's been a long time since I've been on here and it sure LOOKS different!! Hope everyone is well!
I have a friend that will be coming to Colorado over Labor Day weekend. I realize it's the WORST time to try to fish w/ the hot weather and the tourists going for one last trip.
But where can I take a newbie and 2 kids so they can get into some fish and NOT spend their entire time getting out of trees? We will probably spend a day at RMNP doing the tourist thing but after that, we have 3 days to fish.
Also, I don't own a boat and won't get into a boat. We will need a hotel one night as the flight is coming in from Brazil but I figured I can get that at RMHN but the rest can be camping / tent sites if no hotels are available.
It's been a long time since I flyfished Colorado as I have been out of state for about 3 years.
I searched the sight for Colorado and Labor Day but I am not sure if any of those sights are newbie friendly.
Anyone know of some areas we could hit?
