Any input on the Lamson Radius reel?
I'm in the market to pick up a new 4/5wt reel and have been drawn to the Lamson Litespeed. But was thinking of going with the Radius. The price has a little to do with it. But mostly because I have a large arbor reel and don't know if I want another one.

The radius has smaller drag than the Litespeed. If you want the same drag as the Litespeed, the velocity is identical.

My Velocity's have been going strong for a few years, no problems, ... not even in the salt.

You also might want to consider the Ross Rythym. It has the same drag as their Evolution reel, and is roughly the same price as the Radius.

I own a Lamson Velocity, and have nothing but good things to say about it, but I love my Ross reels too.

I think it's a good reel for the price.

I have a lamson Radius for my 4wt and it is an awsome reel, no complaints.
