Even the dog seems to know it's right around the corner. This year I have a new duck boat which opens a world of possibility. There are more birds around right now, slowly heading south I guess. Can't wait!

wha d'ya mean off topic - gotta boost that supply of feathers, biots, etc., somehow ...

yup - golden's being driven nuts by the greater Canada's flying overhead. He knows ..... (ok - I taunt him a bit when they fly over)

2 weeks until we start .... not too many sleeps.

Yup. Our res. goose and Dove season crank up next Thurs. here in Pa.
I have been taking the labs out along the Schuylkill scouting. I am still fighting the preseason twitch.

Blue Grouse opens up on the first along with dove. Teal is mid month. Can't wait to get out there and collect my CDC.

Now grilled teal breast with a cherry bourbon sauce is devine.
