In case you haven't had it happen, or are unaware of the possibility, deleting photos that were posted in threads on the BB from your photobucket account can delete them from the post in which they were used.

The fish are always right.
John. That also goes for any of the many photo storage sites on the internet. That is one reason I have went to attaching photos directly from my desktop to FAOL.

John,
When posting scroll down about half way to see a button that says 'manage attachments.' It's all in there. There is, however, a HUGE drawback to using this method. Your photos will be tiny. I just tried to attach a screen print as a .bmp image to show you where the button is, and after trying to attach it, then resizing it I was still told that it exceeded the file size requirements. Pain in the a$$ if you ask me. Plus, I'd much rather see a full sized picture as opposed to a little thumb nail any day and risk the chance of it getting renamed or deleted on the hosting website and having to repost it.
After all, there is no way you could truly appreciate this guy if he was posted as an attachment.
Or this one either.
Or this one.

John. Wildone is right about the size. Bu it ain't too hard for the reader to click on the phot to get the larger version. A while back another FAOL'r , Chris from Canada posted detailed instructions on how to add a photo from your desktop. Here is what he said:
Okay so heres how you do it.
Step 1: find the file on your computer you want as an attachment and put it on your desktop temporarily.
Step2: Now when you post a message and want to add the attachment into it, scroll down the posting page till you see additional options.
Step 3: Click on the "manage attachments" part. The second box down.
Step 4: then when that box opens click "choose File"
Step5: now another box will open, and you click desktop in that box.
Step 6: now click the file you want to upload and hit open.
Step 7: That box will now dissappear back to the upload box. Click "upload"
Step 8: wait for a second and it will upload. Once it has finished and you see the file name in that box you can close that window.
STep 9: now the thing you uploaded will be in your original message at FAOL! Voila!
Hope it helps!
Tim and Ryan -
Thanks for the information.
Ryan, looks like the dog is already an attachment.

The fish are always right.
Let's see if my itty bitty brain can fathom this.......................
Well, I followed the directions to the letter, and nothing has appeared in this box, so the next thing to do is hit the submit button, and look like an idiot when nothing comes up.
They're just fish, right? Right?
What did the Salmon say when it ran headfirst into the wall?????? Dam!
Me too.
