Ok, so I kept my deer hide from this winter and have been happily bleaching and dyeing. However, I have come across a piece that I am nearly positive would be better suited to someone else. This particular piece is the leg skin. I kept it because it is covered in short, stiff hairs that I thought might be perfect for using to tye wings on small dry flies or tails on dry flies. The only problem is that since I decided to keep the piece I have discovered that I have no real use for any dry flies that small. The hairs are between 1/2 inch and 1 inch long. I thought it would be perfect for small caddis or other things of that nature. If you have any questions or if it sounds useful to you, lemme know
