    Default Advanced Elements Kayak

    Does anyone have any experience with this little booger? It's an inflatable with rigid bow and stern. The reviews sound good, but I know that input from here would be more credible. Also, would a big (50" waist) 300 pounder be able to fit in it, and would it float you if you did?

    I suspect you would be pushing its limits. I loaned a friend of mine a OT Otter kayak for a fishing trip. He is a pretty large guy at 250 + lbs. The kayak held him but was riding pretty low - I'm afraid if we had encountered any fast water he would have had trouble. I would recommend a larger kayak like the Old Town Loon 138. They can hold a larger guy easily. (I wouldn't recommend anythig less that 12 ft in either a sit-in or sit-on-top kayak.)
