With all the rods out there, you come across one every so often that is as though it was made with you in mind.
My quest lately was a perfect 5 weight as I am very well covered in the 2,3,4,6,8 class. As far as 5 weight I have a F&F and a 10'. both serve their purpose great, but I found a NEED for a nice 8'6" and for me med. action. My old man has a Winston LT, a Steffen, a McFarland and a Sage SLT that I can use anytime, but I wanted MY OWN.
So, I ordered it (name on it and all) and was told around 6 weeks. No problem, but to my surprise, there is was a week after I ordered it....WAHOO!
MY PERFECT ROD! So I had to put the perfect line and reel on it. It is a Green Vosseler RC and Ridgeline, line...perfect!
