Is this a good reel for saltwater fishing. I have not heard to much about it, but i have seen lots of people using it. Any input?
Thanks,
Chris

I use the 3.0 on my 9 wt Xi2. It is light and balances well. Have landed good sized striped bass and tamed more than a few false albacore with it (note that the 3.0 with a 9 wt line does not exactly have a lot of backing - maybe 150 yards of gel spun).
I find that it is very easy to clean and the drag is sealed - both important for asaltwater reel.
I like mine and think it is an attractive reel (in smoke) in addition to being an effective fish fighting tool.

eponymous's answer was a good one. I've seen quite a few used down here on the coast. Guess it depends in part on what you're targeting, but a light anodized aluminum reel with a solid, sealed drag is a pretty good bet for most inshore fishing. I love mine in freshwater and wouldn't hesitate to use it in salt.

Thanks guys, seems like its pretty fool proof. I haven't heard any thing wrong with it so i guess i'll go with it.
Tight Lines,
Chris
The guide finish might be a little bit tougher. I've got the 2 in smoke finish and in 1/2 a season the lettering is rubbing off and I've got a gouge from dropping it on my porch steps.
