Woodduck for tail, thread color of choice, Woodduck over wing, dubbing head, done.
I just usually apply it in a fan spray pattern, but have been known to use the tube to direct into tight places. Great stuff to dry out wet spark plug wires.

What GREAT timing, on a post!
I'd JUST completed a dozen #18 Armorals, in blue and was either going to start on a batch of STP Son Of A Guns,in #14, when this WD40 post was started!
Now, I think, I'll tie up my spring supply of WD40s, in #12-#8-#10s, before going back to the STPs and finishing up with a run of Quaker States.
