Lexington is in central KY. Lots of places to meet there.
But you might want to meet somewhere near the Cumberland River. It has great trout fishing (and stripers too!)

After looking at your message again, I wasn't sure if you just wanted to meet in KY or actually fish in KY.

If you want to fish, I'd try Tenn. or the Smokies. Most of KY is in a severe drought. Just got back from the Wyoming and Yellowstone area and its DRIER here than there. Most of the cities are under Emergency Water conditions( they draw water from streams).Most streams are extremely low and HOT. A tailwater like the Cumberland or one in Tenn. may be your only feasible alternative. Check the Clinch in Tenn??
