In the current issue of Fishing Tackle Retailer, Rory Coward (female) executive direction of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) "25 percent of all fly anglers are women."

That would be one of every four people you see fly fishing are female.

I believe the figure is highly inaccurate - our demographics program here at FAOL shows less than 8% women enter any of our Monthly Drawing, and my own personal experience on the water would put the figure as less than that.

What is your opinion? What percent of fly fishers YOU see are female? Your opinion is very important to me, and I'd like opinions from as many varied places around the country/world as possible.

Help me out?

I'd like to get about a hundred actual percentage opinions if you will please.
