Default Many of you will remember ...

Evan Morgan, son of Charlotte and Brad. This was posted on another board, and I do not have Brad's permission to post it here, so, please forgive me Brad. I just thought some of you would be interested in the progress made by this remarkable young man.

"As a heads up, the local paper is doing a long story on Evan in their Sunday paper tomorrow. Supposed to start on the cover and then use up two inside pages. They only carry stories on their free site site on the day they are published, then charge for the access to their archives. So, if interested, check this site tomorrow -- http://www.dailycamera.com/

    Brad"

"tomorrow", in this case, would mean Sunday.
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

There truly have been some remarkable demonstrations of courage associated with this war.
    This is one of them!

His Dad says with pride "its a really neat thing when your number one son turns out to be the person you admire most in the world "

I am left speechless by the courage of this wonderful young man.

    Betty,

I've been trying to keep up with Evan's progress since I first found out he was wounded. Thanks for posting this.

    Thumbs up

I have long viewed Evan as a Hero, not due to an heroic act, but as an heroic example of how to handle & overcome adversity. The young man has GUTS...MAJOR LEAGUE guts!
Let us not overlook a young lady to be admired....his wife Jillian. A tear or two came to my eyes when I read that she accepted his proposal AFTER his injuries. As a Vietnam medic, I can tell you it would have been easy for her to walk away but she stood by, & continues to stand by, Evan. He has a pretty darned special & courageous wife too. There is no doubt that she has played a very large part in his recovery.
    God Bless them,
    Mike
