Thread: Anybody fish a "Patriot" no pun intended

    Hi Donat
    I have and do fish the patriot often and have good results with this fly here in CT. For me I like to fish the patriot when I am in good rainbow water.

    I know it's touted as being very effective on rainbows, but I've found that browns like it a lot, too. Here's a neat variation, something that may be better suited to rough water:
