Has anyone heard of or have knowledge of this Salmon fly called the Collingwood Special?

I was reading some old literature about Labrador when I came across several citations such as -

"In them days the Caribou served more than as a food staple, its hide was used to make clothing. It was also used as an insulation barrier between the snow and your sleeping bag while trapping in the winter. I always selected a nice brown 4X4 square to tie some Collingwood Specials for the American Generals.?

The US Airforce had a Base in Cartwright Labrador in the 1960?s and many of their top Generals were flown to the Eagle River (where they had a fishing camp) to do some Atlantic Salmon Fishing and some R&R.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
