Despite the scepticism it met with in the beginning (including my own) , tyers are reallizing just how handy it is with a little practice. I'm using it to mix ostrich and peacock herls for bodies on small emerger patterns, and ribbing over flash on still water patterns. It makes those two very brittle materials quite durable.
