Sorry I didn't answer this one, I know it can be done since it had been done here some years ago. I believe it was through the local water district - I wish I could be more helpful, and I would like to know the 'how' too.

That is very interesting, I am researching this very thing about water with the reference to the Big Springs area in Island Park, ID.

I hope for a call back from the forest service soon.
