Let's meet up at the Great Waters Expo in Minneapolis
OK. I'll take the bull by the horns.
Anyone from the FAOL family who would like to get together, let's plan to meet at Kathy's booth around noon on both Saturday and/or Sunday. We can put some faces to names, maybe grab some lunch and visit a while.
For anyone who might be interested, it looks like I'll have my strip-built wooden rod done. I'll have it with me. I'd love to get your opinions. If any of you want to try to "hunt me down" at some other time you might be able to pick me out of the crowd. One of my main objectives that weekend will be to try a few different reels and/or lines on this rod so I will be carrying the rod around in a handcrafted wooden rod tube so look for a goofy looking guy walking around with a 4' wooden rod tube slung over his shoulder.
For those of you who don't know Kathy it won't be hard to find her booth. Just look for the nice lady who is furling leaders as fast as her little fingers will let her.
