    Default Strip-Built rod update; Getting closer

    Well, getting there. The hard part is done. Got the tapers done and hardware fitted. Now some finish, wrap guides, etc. and we are ready for a test drive. Overall it has been a fun project. None of the hardware, grip, etc are mounted yet. Just dry fitted for the picture. Take a look.

    By the way, yes that is one of Dot Man's "Fly Reel Dots" on the reel in the photo.
