Default Can you ID this fish/bug?

I hit a little creek today trying to catch some bream to use as bait for a Havahart trap to try to catch a coon. I caught a little bream, but I'm unsure of what species it really is, as they're all bream to me. I cut off its head to kill it before using it as bait and sticking out of it's stomach (I guess) was a bug. This bug was probably 1.5 inches long in a 5 inch fish. Since a lot of y'all know your bugs, I was just interested to see if you can tell what this one is.

The pictures aren't too good because I didn't want to bring a good camera wading in a creek.

Reminds me of a dragonfly nymph.

Tough to tell, but judging by the general shape I'd say it is a dragonfly nymph.

    FML-

Can't help you with the fish, but your insect photo appears to be an Aeshnid (Darner) dragonfly nymph.

The fish looks like a bluegill to me.

as for the bug I agree with the assumption of it being a dragonfly nymph.

The fish is a shellcracker/sunfish. The bug looks like a dragonfly nymph. Where I fish, the shellcrackers get up to 2lbs and I've seen some pushing 3lbs. They are awsome eating too.
