    Default building custom rod cases

Does anyone have a supplier for the threaded end caps to make custom rod cases. I think it was Woodcraft you used to be able to buy venner tubes and the end caps to go with them to make the cases. I however can no longer find them on their web site. Any other Ideas?

The taps and dies for cutting threads of that size would be a bit unusual, and prohibitively expensive for just any old body to have around.
The threads could be cut on a lathe if you know what you're doing (I certainly don't, but that's besides the point).

I am looking at just the metal end caps to put on some strip built wooden rod cases. Maybe REC would jsut sell me the caps as it sounds like they just cut the tubes to what they need and then install the caps on those. I have wooden taps and dies (for threading wood) up to 1 1/2" but those wood never work for what I want to do.
