Default Turning into a photo essay

Still suffering from cabin fever. It was warmer today, but all of the snow melt made me decide to go to work instead of fishing. Here are some more photos.

This guy popped his head out as I was walking down a dried up side channel to one of our Class A wild trout streams. He wouldn't come the whole way out, so this is all I could photograph.

This is the rattler that is coiled up in a prevous post. When we initially came up on him, he was all stretched out. I just liked this photo.

This guy was crossing the road that I was walking back up to the jeep on. I directed "traffic" (actually something like 2 cars) around him until he made it to the other side. What was really neat about this guy was that he had just finished shedding his skin and there was still a piece covering his rattle. Because of that, the rattle was kinda muffled. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the rattle. Oh well, maybe next time.

Fishing with bait is like swearing in church.
