Seems like I have to put something at the tippet end to find it on my spool. It is very frustrating. Are there some tips for finding the tippet end or a method storing line?

If your spool does not have a band around it, use a pony tail holder around the spool, with the end sticking out somewhere along a side.
Trouts don't live in ugly places.
A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

For God's sake, Don't Quote me! I'm Probably making this crap up!

-bands that come with the tippet
-hair dooees
-rubber bands
-a slit cut in the plastic of the spool that you put the end of the tippet thru
Pony tail holders, also known as scrunchees, and I push my bobbin threader through it and pull the tippet end right through the scrunchee and then put the scrunchee around the spool.
I'll Second the Fly Reel Dots!
I second having the "le strap" thing on the spools with a hole in them. They come standard on all the Rio Tippets, I believe.
