Funbun - the outriggers are dry storage and they come off for easier loading onto your vehicle. My local flyshop just started carrying them, so I got to see one live. Very well thought out. It even has a rope to pull yourself up from the stting position. You can "open and close" the riggers with 2 levers that are easily reached from the seat. They are independent of one another so you can put one out as you near the dock for better stability when stepping in or out. I like the fact that they come with a seat, paddle, pole, and storage - of course, they are pricey. Oh yeah, they also come with an anchor boom that can be used while seated.

I'm going on a trip with the shop this Spring and we get to play with these kayaks and the new Sage Bass rods - can't wait.
