Default FF Clubs in NE Ohio?

    Hello,
I'm interested in joining a fly fishing club and was wondering if any our NE Ohio members can point me in the right direction. I live in Limaville which is just north of Alliance on the Stark/Portage Co. line. Are there any clubs in the greater Akron/Canton area?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

There's a fly shop in Ravenna that might be able to help you out:

    Jeremy,
Shoot me a PM. There is a club that meets up around Mogadore, I think. In fact, I was thinking of joining. Maybe we can check it out together.

    Scott,
I used to practically live at the TMF Sport Shop. I'm well know by the staff up there. In the 10 years that I've been a patron there I've not heard of any talk of
    local clubs.

    Mike,
Yes we should check out that club. I'll PM you.

    Fatman,
Mike and I live too far from Cincy unfortunately. Thanks anyway though.

    Smile Ohio

Go to the link below, for Great Lakes On The Fly and click on the Ohio link. There you will find almost anything to do with fly fishing in Ohio: clubs; shops; you name it. Sort through the links and you should be able to find what you are looking for.

As a side note, I belong to two clubs plus the FFF. Being a member of a club opens so many doors for you, new ways to fly fish, new areas to fish, new friends, in other words, belonging to a club is a great way to enjoy your fly fishing. If you join a club, be active in it and ask questions and talk to people, they will help you. If you sit back and becone a wall flower, then no one will notice you.

    Good luck on your search.

    Default Too far north??

Not sure if Joe V. is still out on his 'boat' or not. But I do know he has a very active organization.

There are three ways to complete a project. The right way, the wrong way or the Boss' way. You'd best learn the Boss' way.
