I know that a lot of fly fishermen use more than one fly by tying the second fly as a dropper from the bend of the top fly. The top fly being a dry with a dropper. Some fish with more than one nymph and some with 2 or more wet flies. If the tippet is tied to the bend of a hook that is barbless, is it possible for the tippet to come off the hook while casting or fighting a fish? I usually only use one fly so I have no experience with multible flies and was just curious. I can see where the barb would stop the tippet from coming off a hook, but, what about a barbless hook. Is there a problem or not. I am not making any statements here, just curious...
