Doug, if you clap your hands once, while they are cupped so that it makes a hollow Pop!, and do it very loudly the next time that flock of 100 flies overhead, you might very well be able to determine which one the designated bombardier is. It often works with starlings, too.

BTW, I live under a goose flyway as well. I have a pressure washer and a very green lawn.
