Default Boo Kits in the 70's

I purchased bamboo rod kit in the early 70's from a Springfield Ohio outfit called "Angler's Pro Shop". I recently was told that the blanks were British made. Anyone ever order one and do you still use it? Mine is a 7'-6", 5 wt. I substituted better quality components, e.g., nickel silver reel seat and winding check, etc.

I think I bought some of those in the 80's. some kind of deal like 5 blanks for $125. No components just blanks. I think I still have one or two kicking around.
